Happy New Year to you all.  After a wet and windy start to the New Year I'm glad to say that the weather has improved with grass gradually growing around the farm. On the farm there are well over 100 new born lambs and after a lengthy spell indoors during the wet and blustery period, most ewes and lambs are now outdoors.  Last week we held our Annual Lampeter Agricultural discussion group dinner at the Black Lion hotel at Lampeter where we were joined by guest speaker John Davies - Speaking about his glittering rugby career with Neath, Llanelli and Wales.

The results of a light hearted silage competition were announced on the night. We enjoyed success this year by winning first and second with the big bale silage and second and third with the small bale hay.
