Strong winds and showers
THURSDAY AFTERNOON
Showers and strong north-westerly winds, gusting up to
50mph along the west and north-west coast. There will be some
bright spells mixed with hail and thunder and wintry showers
possible on higher ground. Feeling cold for late May with
temperatures below average between 8-11ºC.
THURSDAY NIGHT
Fewer showers for a time early evening with some
sunny spells before dusk. Plenty of cloud overnight, showers and
strong winds with lows of around 5ºC.
Met Office warning of strong winds valid from 00.05 until 18.00
Friday evening.
FRIDAY
A cloudy morning, with mist in places, showers and strong
winds. Becoming brighter in the afternoon with temperatures between
9-13ºC and feeling rather cold.
SATURDAY
Dry with plenty of sunshine and lighter winds. Feeling
warmer with highs of around 15ºC.
SUNDAY
A dry day with bright spells and light winds. Highs of
around 17ºC.
MONDAY
A cloudier day with outbreaks of rain and lower
temperatures.
